Funny Because Productions is a small production company intent on bringing big laughs and little chuckles to anyone that needs them. It is founded by Una Harrington and Jack Fitzpatrick.
Una and Jack have worked on short films, feature scripts and independent video projects. The Slammer is their first television show.
Una Harrington is an English/American writer, director, and actor. She is a graduate of the School Of Creative And Preforming Arts in New York and Vermont. She has studied screenwriting at Stanford’s Online High School and Film and TV production at Anne Arundel Community College. Una co-founded Funny Because Productions in 2025 with her producing partner Jack Fitzpatrick. She is the director of Maxi Men and Taylor Swift Is Dead among others. She co-created The Slammer in 2024. When she is not working, you will likely find her thinking about working, walking her embarrassingly loud terrier, or tripping over household objects.
Jack Fitzpatrick is an American writer and actor. He’s graduated from the Anderson Film Camp and the School Of Creative And Preforming Arts where he met his producing partner, Una Harrington. In 2025 he co-founded Funny Because Productions with her and they produced a number of short films together. Passionate about many mediums and genres; he co-created a sitcom, The Slammer, in 2024. He is a Kansas native and proud owner of Peppa, his should-be prize-winning pug.
